What kind of paper you use?

Paper stickers are printed on the special art paper CASTGLOSS made by Raflatac, vinyl stickers are printed on hi-quality vinyl made by Raflatac or JAC. ^

What does four-colour print mean, what is CMYK?
CMYK is an abbreviation for four printing colours C=Cyan (baby blue) M=Magenta (purple) Y=Yellow, K=Key (black). Combining these four colours can bring about any shade, they are therefore commonly used in the printing process. However, colours such as e.g. golden, silver or fluorescent have to be printed using direct colours (PANTONE, HKS standards). ^

What kind of raster will be used for printing stickers?
175 lpi thick halftone raster (2,400 dpi resolution). ^

Is it possible to print with special direct colours (PANTONE, HKS)?
Yes, but there is an extra charge of CZK 1,500 for each direct colour, CZK 1,800 for metallic. ^

Is it possible to order stickers printed on a transparent foil?
Yes it is possible. Please contact us by phone. ^

Is it possible to order stickers printed on a pearly, laser surface or without UV protective varnish?
Basically, itŐs no problem, however, there must be a larger quantity of ordered stickers. Please contact us by phone for specification and calculations ^

Is it possible to print out stickers in other than your standard sizes and shapes?

In order to maintain favourable prices, we have designed our standard formats in such a way as to fit them into a quire as economically as possible. However, in larger orders (min. 4,000 pcs per sticker) we are able to adjust the size of your sticker to your needs. Please contact us by phone for specification. ^

Is it possible to order cut-outs or cutaways?
Yes, but it is necessary to make a one-time cut-out die. Please contact us by phone for more information and prices. ^

What kind of program is best for making sticker design?
You can use any kind of program for high quality output, e.g.: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia Freehand and similar professional programs. ^

How is it with using overprinting?

In order to get a rich black shade we recommend putting cyan under black colour. For the register of lettering smaller than 6 points, use 2 colours at most. ^

Can I get a discount for one or two-coloured stickers?

Since our standard is to print all stickers using 4- colour offset printing (CMYK), we do not offer discounts, unless it is a large order. ^

Is it possible to send compressed data in *.gif *.jpeg or *.png format?

Since the quality of compressed data can be quite impaired, we do not recommend saving files for offset printing in these formats. ^

What kind of DPI resolution should the design be in and how to set it?
Resolution needs to be set up only for raster formats (e.g. *tiff), the optimum for offset printing is 300 DPI (dost per inch). For example, in Adobe Photoshop, resolution is set in the >Image window in the >Image size menu. Please note: Set the resolution in dots per inch, not dots per cm! ^

May I use peripheral frames around graphics?

Yes, but if the frames are thinner than 3mm, it is not possible to cut precisely. ^

What kind of printing machines you use?

We print using Heidelberg cars. ^

May I cancel my order?

Yes, you may cancel your order up to the nearest printing deadline, however, it is necessary to arrange it with us by phone. ^

Is it possible to change design or quantity after sending my order?
It is possible, unless the nearest printing deadline is already closed. In order to eliminate misunderstanding, it is necessary to arrange it by phone. ^

How much does delivery cost?
Domestic delivery is for free, for international we use Deusche post and we charge according to their actual pricelist (see www.post.de). ^

How should I file a claim or complaint?
If you have any problem or doubt regarding your order, contact us and we will be happy to solve your problem. ^
